I come to Collective every two weeks and see Gagan to thread my brows and upper lip. She is amazing, job well done every time! I haven’t tried their other services, however everyone is super friendly there and knowledgeable about their services and products, especially the receptionist. I’m greeted by name there even! So warm, welcoming, and relaxing.
This is best place in Calgary. Every square inch of this massive salon and spa is stunning. All of the staff I met greeted with genuine interest, made me feel valued and like I was the only customer that mattered. I have been to countless barbers over the past few years and I have to Wassam is such a talented person. I recommend him with absolute confidence. Can’t wait for my next appointment.
I adore this place. Every time new experience. Nice relaxing atmosphere, good customer service and my hair cut it's just a master piece!!!
I've known Gagan for many years through her work in Vancouver and now Calgary, she genuinely cares about your brows, most likely more than you even do! Best threading and tinting in town hands down, look no further.
Cut was ok not at all what I wanted. She didn't listen it was pretty clear and I should have left right away. I asked for all over brunette "near black" my usual and got this chesnutty brown with a red tinge. I specifically said no red tone. She showed me a sample didn't look red. I could live with it if she hadn't totally given me a haircut I hate. She took about 5 inches off length I'd been growing it out forever and I agreed to like two. Lobbed the first chunk off pre colour because she was being cheap, and I know for a fact that doesn't lead to a good cut and that she ended up way over cutting as a result. Aside from being too short, the layering is not nearly enough I know because I've had amazing cuts for last ten years. She clearly didn't know what to do with long thick hair. Tried to give me bangs which I luckily avoided but barely. And then post blow dry she did this thing with the scissors to take out the thickness - again shocking, and never had been done to me before. Why would I want thinner hair?!?! Obviously didn't know what she was doing at least with my hair. Not going back of course but very sad and upset to have paid $200 and feel like I'm going to have to wait probably like a year or more to get my hair properly back. Salon is nice, and stylist was nice too. Very disappointing.
